What issues should be noted during the installation of screw hoists

Place the manual screw hoist in the device position. Place a limit plate on the screw, rotate the screw from the lower part of the crossbeam into the machine, and when the screw is exposed above the machine, place the upper limit plate. The lower part of the screw is connected to the gate. On the premise of ensuring that the foundation plane of the base is level, a screw hoist can be installed. It is necessary for the base of the hoist to touch more than 90% of the surface of the foundation plane. The axis of the screw must be perpendicular to the horizontal plane measured on the gate platform, and the screw should be prevented from tilting, resulting in the formation of locally stressed broken parts.

It is necessary to ensure the stability and safety of the foundation for the installation of the hoist. The concrete for the base and foundation components shall be poured according to the specifications on the drawings. When the concrete strength does not reach the planned strength, it is prohibited to dismantle or modify the temporary support of the hoist, and trial operation and adjustment shall not be carried out. During the installation, based on the lifting centerline of the gate, align the center so that the error of the longitudinal and transverse centerline does not exceed plus or minus 3mm, and the elevation error does not exceed plus or minus 5mm. Then pour the second phase concrete or connect it with the embedded steel plate. For the installation of electrical equipment in the product, it must comply with the provisions of the drawings and instructions, and all electrical equipment must be firmly grounded. At the end of the product installation, the machine should be organized, repaired with damaged maintenance paint, and lubricated. After the device is completed, a trial run must be carried out to check for any abnormal movements in the two strokes of the screw and to see if the device complies with national technical standards.

After the device is installed, it is necessary to conduct a trial run. One is to conduct a no-load experiment, which involves allowing the screw to perform two strokes, listening for any abnormal movements, and checking whether the device meets the technical requirements. Conduct a second load experiment, conduct two strokes under additional load, investigate the operation of the screw and gate, and check for any abnormal phenomena. Only after confirming the accuracy can it be officially put into operation. After running under load for a period of time, the first maintenance should be carried out. The metal foam generated by the friction of new components in the machine, especially screws, nuts, turbines, and turbine rods, should be gently washed clean, coated with lubricating oil, sealed tightly, and used continuously.
